Membership Subscriptions are now overdue and can be paid by either by cheque or by bank transfer to account Saddleworth Musical Society Sort code 72-00-06 A/c 04309082

Please send an email to the Treasurer ( treasurer@saddmussoc.org ) after the transfer has been made.

This Years’ Spring Concert:

 

Rehearsals to be held in Lee Street Centre each Thursday. The Band call will be held on  Sunday 16th May venue & time TBA.

The Concert is to be held in the Civic Hall, Uppermill on 23rd. May 2010. Programme includes the Stabat Mater by Karl Jenkins (the first performance in the North-West), The Lark Ascending and Greensleeves arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and works by Elgar and Parry.

 

AGM

 

Will be held in Lee Street Centre on 27th May 2010. Formal notification will be sent to paid up Members prior to the meeting.

 

Advance notification:

 

The autumn production will be The Merry Widow, dates 26 - 30 October 2010, and the Christmas Concert is on Sunday 12 December 2010.

 

SMS will be performing the closing concert of the Saddleworth Festival of the Arts on 12th  June 2011.
